Thank you for choosing your new CUBE Bikes for Multicycle . As your CUBE specialist , we want to enable you that you can quickly explore your surroundings.
First of all: We have already assembled the bicycle in terms of regulations, professionally set everything and tried all functions. We had to partially dismantle the bike for shipping. With our assembly instructions, you can easily manage the few steps to make it ready to drive!
You can also watch all the steps in the video:
Note: Please note the specified torque according to the manufacturer. You can usually find these on the components and in the CUBE operating instructions.
Attention: incorrect tightening moments can irreparably damage frame and components. There is also a risk of accident.
For our online trade, we have developed special cardboard boxes that not only make the transport of our bicycles more secure, but also more environmentally friendly.
These sustainable packaging consist of recyclable materials and were designed so that they optimally protect our bikes while we at the same time reduce our ecological footprint.
So your new bikes not only arrive in your best condition, but also with a clear conscience.
Open the cardboard tape, loosen the brackets and pull the box upwards. Thanks to our special multicycle boxes, your bike is now sure to continue to build up in front of you. Now carefully remove the cable ties necessary for shipping with the side cutter / scissors. Make sure that you don't damage the paint of your new wheel here!
With the Allen / interior socket wrench, you first dissolve the screws of the clamp on the stem. Then you unpack the handlebar and put it in the middle of the stem. Position the clamp again and pull the screws with the torque specified on the clamp or in the CUBEoperating instructions.
Remove the remaining cardboard boxes and protectors, which our workshop employee attached as transport security. You don't need aids for this.
Screw the stick axle with the help of the appropriate Allen / interior socket key or the quick tensioner from the fork (above). Then carefully pull the transport protection out of the brake (below).
Attention: Now no longer pull the brake lever.
Now put the impeller in the fork. The brake disc is on the left side in the direction of travel and is carefully positioned between the brake pads. Pay attention to the escape of the lip axle or quick tensioner to the fork thread before screwing. Now screw the stick axle with specified torque. Note the instructions of the CUBEoperating instructions when installing the quick tensioner.
In the package you will find the pedals. So that you know which pedal has to go to which crank, we have each marked a pedal and a crank with a glue point. Put the thread on the respective crank arm and tighten the pedal without a tool. The pedals must be easily turned on.
Note: The left pedal has a left thread, the right pedal a legal thread.
Put the pedal you with the 15 -male key in the direction of travel and taking into account the correct torque.
Attention: Turning violent screwing with tilied or incorrectly scheduled pedals
can irreparably damage crank and pedal.
With the damper pump you set the pressure in your fork. For the correct values according to your suspension fork, we recommend that you read in the manufacturer's website:

Dear the screw of the saddle clamp or the screws of the integrated saddle clamp on the seat tube. Adjust the saddle height according to your idea. Pick up the screws taking into account the specified torque. You can find this on the terminal or in the CUBE operating instructions.
Attention: A false tightening moment can irreparably damage the frame and other components .
With an e-bike with a removable display, you only have to attach it to its bracket.
We have set the air pressure for your bike to the right default value. In addition, the correct tire pressure is crucial for driving safety.
These values apply to a rough orientation:
mountain bike and E-MTB : 1.5 to 2.5 bar
racing bike and crosser: 5.0 to 8.5 bar
trekking bike: 3.5 to 5.5 bar
Note: The right air pressure in the tire depends on many factors: size of the tires, carcass, purpose, driver weight or a tubeless system affect air pressure. This means that universal statements about the tire pressure are not possible.
Attention: Please check the tire pressure regularly for your own safety.
Attention: Please brake your disc brakes before the first trip to reach full braking performance.
You can do this by delaying both the front and rear-wheel brake of approx. 25 km/h with a grinding, non-blocking brake. Please do not make full braking. This process grinds up the topping and disc. After a few brakes, you will find an improved braking force. If you are not observed, you run the risk of glazing the brake pads, and wear also increases.
Then the brake pads should be slowed down, to do this, pull the brake lever for about 200 meters and drive against the brake resistance. The hot brake favors the outgas of the coverings and the brake pads receive their final strength.
